Help adolescents better understand how they communicate, why misunderstandings happen, and how to communicate more effectively with others.
These interactive workbooks have been designed to encourage self-reflection, build communication awareness, and support meaningful conversations between young people and the adults who support them. Rather than teaching a single "right" way to communicate, it explores the idea that everyone has different communication styles, preferences and needs.
Through a combination of brief educational sections, practical activities and guided reflection questions, adolescents are encouraged to explore their own communication style, recognise differences in others, and develop strategies to navigate communication challenges with greater confidence.
The workbook includes:
13 interactive worksheet activities
A Communication Profile sheet that can be provided to others (e.g., to a teacher)
2 x affirming colouring pages
There are four versions of the workbook to suit different brains.
Colour Illustrated: A colourful, visually engaging version with decorative illustrations that can be coloured in during or after the workbook activities, making it a great option for clients who like to keep their hands busy.
Black & White Illustrated: A printer-friendly black and white version with decorative illustrations.
Colour Minimal: A colourful version with a clean, uncluttered layout, well suited to those who prefer fewer visual distractions.
